Abstract


The aim of this work is to study the biochemical organization and response of defense system in digestive gland and gills of marine bivalve Scapharca broughtoni during anoxia/hypoxia and recovery. The results obtained show that anoxia exposure caused decreasing of total antioxidant activity, level of glutathione and intensive increasing of lipid peroxidation product.
