Abstract |
||
Forest fires accompany mankind throughout its history. They cause extensive damage to landscape areas, human settlements and cities. Causes of forest fires are varied and one of them is spontaneous combustion of marsh gas, which includes methane and other flammable compounds. An experiment was conducted to assess the potential fire hazard of different districts of Moscow region (Shatura, Taldom, Odintsovo and Domodedovo districts). The marsh gas samples were analyzed in gas chromatograph Kristallux-4000m. |
