Abstract |
||
The article analyzes the results of an empirical study of a volitional component of a DDIA (District Department of Internal Affairs) employee’s personality. Its supreme elements are formed and developed in the process of learning and acquiring practical experience. Volitional qualities being central in the regulation of mental processes and states get great importance. On the basis of summarizing the results obtained it is proved that volitional mental qualities cause adaptive abilities, neuro-mental stability, normative behavior, extraversion, self-confidence, empathy and practicality. Besides, this component causes a decrease of resentment, negativity, irritability and feeling of guilt. The system of interpersonal relations reduces suspiciousness, self-centeredness, inferiority and aggressiveness; increases self-confidence and internality, thereby reducing the negative communicative settings. |
