Abstract |
||
Basing on Russian textbooks and readers of 1840 – 1850 the author analyses the formation of pedagogical canon in relation to Mikhail Lermontov’s poetry and prose. The article analyses over 20 textbooks and readers of that period, as well as the university textbooks. The spectrum of perceiving Lermontov’s works by the authors of the textbooks and readers is outlined. The main tendencies of the pedagogical canon formation in the period mentioned are presented. The list of all Lermontov’s works included into the textbooks of 1840 – 1850 is given. The most influential textbooks of that time (by Galakhov, Gretch, Zelenetsky) and their impact on the tradition of including Lermontov’s works into schoolbooks are mentioned. |
