This article analyses the Russian and Polish political terms in the formal grammatical aspect. Basing on political terminology the author provides a comparative analysis of morphological structure inherent in socio-political terms and word-forming models. Consequently, the author comes to the conclusion that extra-linguistic factors together with inflexional filiation between the two languages influence the similar productivity of Slavic terminology.
