The article presents the plot of the autobiographical narrative as mediators of self-knowledge and self-interpretation of an individual: his psychological properties and stand in life. The hypothesis of the study is the assumption that the subjects of autobiographical narratives are interrelated with the individual psychological properties of the personality. The body of texts of autobiographical narratives received from 110 men and women aged 17–57 has been analyzed. The analysis showed that the subjects of autobiographical narrative mediate the individual-psychological characteristics of а person so that the dominant plot expresses the narrator’s personality profile and stand in life.
